E-mail sent before bomb blast:

September 13: Indian Mujahideen on Saturday claimed responsibility of the serial blasts that killed at least five people in the national capital.

In an e-mail sent to media houses, the outfit that had earlier also claimed the Jaipur and Ahmedabad blasts, said, ‘Indian Mujahideen strikes back once more.’

“Within 5 minutes from now. This time with the Message of Death, dreadfully terrorising you for your sins," the chilling note said.

“And thus our promise will be fulfilled. Inshallah," it read. The outfit also threw a challenge to the security agencies, saying “do whatever you want and stop us if you can," the mail which came from ‘Arbi Hindi", with the e-mail ID of al_arbi_delhi@yahoo.com, said.

This is the ID used by the Muhahideen informing that the Delhi would rocked by nine blasts. However, media claims that there have been only 5 blasting killing 20 and injuring 100 and the 4 have been defused!

The Mujahideen"s e-mail is again from Mumbai!

Indian Mujahideen terror mail traced to Mumbai: Police
13 Sep 2008, 2213 hrs IST,AGENCIES

NEW DELHI: The terror mail sent by Indian Mujahideen has been traced to an Internet Protocol address in Mumbai, Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Police (ATS) Parambir Singh said.

The email had been sent out to media houses.

The Indian Mujahideen email, titled “the Message of Death", said: “In the name of Allah, Indian Mujahideen strikes back once more. … Do whatever you can. Stop us if you can."

The Indian Mujahideen was unknown before May, when it claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in Jaipur that killed 61 people.

At least five blasts ripped through different parts of the National Capital on Saturday evening between 6:15 PM and 7 PM. At least 18 have been killed and over 100 have been injured. Unconfirmed reports say the casualty figure may be higher.

Shivaraj Patil, the name-sake Home Minister, just talks usual rubbish of condolence, take action and so on without telling specifically what he would do and how he deals with such systemaric and organized terror, that too, carried on IT-tech basis.

Sonia Maino as usual talks like parrot: Condemning the serial blasts in the capital as “an act of cowardice", United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday said those responsible for the dastardly act will not be “spared". “These dastardly terror blasts are an act of cowardice," Gandhi said in a statement after six successive blasts ripped through the capital leaving nine dead and over 80 injured. This she has told many times. “Those behind the blasts will not be spared and they have no place in our civilised society," the Congress party chief said.

But, we know what has been happening.

The so-called cowardice acts continue!

“Dastardly acts" are “spared"!!

“THose who behind the blasts have been spared"!!!

And they only have place in the “civilized society", that too in India under her Rule!!!!

B. Raman, has pointed out about “Message in Indian Mujahideen"s latest email" on August 25, 2008. One more e-mail message purporting to be from the so-called Indian Mujahideen was reported to have been received on the evening of August 23 by a TV news channel. It is suspected to have been sent from a computer in Mumbai"s Khalsa College. The police have initiated investigations to identify the originator.

B. Raman says: “The Indian Mujahideen threat is real" September 13, 2008:
The so-called Indian Mujahideen has once again, through an e-mail sent to some media offices, claimed the responsibility for a series of explosions in three crowded market places of New Delhi [Images] between 6-45 pm and 7 pm on September 13. The message is reported to have been sent five minutes before the explosions took place. It speaks of nine Improvised Explosive Devices planted in different places. Five of these exploded. Three are reported to have been detected by the police before the explosion could take place. One remains unaccounted for. One has to await details of evidence regarding the IEDs before one can comment on their similarity, if any, with the earlier blasts in three cities of Uttar Pradesh last November, in Jaipur in May and in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad in July, but the means of communication used to claim responsibility for the blasts and to provide authenticity of the claim are the same. The use of e-mails signed by similar kuniyats (assumed names such as al-Hindi or al-Arabi) and similar-sounding e-mail addresses indicate the same organisation has been responsible.

The “Haywood" mystery and Mujahideen!

Last time, Haywood"s computer was used by the Mujahideen. With polituical pressure, he escaped out of India under mysterious circumstances. In fact, the e-mail dated 25-08-2008 had thanked Haywood!

In it"s fifth terror e-mail sent out since last year’s Uttar Pradesh court bombings, the Indian Mujahideen commended the role played by a citizen of the US who escaped from India a week ago. The outfit had last month sent an e-mail, which talked about blasts in Ahmedabad minutes before the explosions, from the Internet network of Kenneth Haywood, the American who lived with his family in Navi Mumbai till he fled.

In the latest e-mail sent to national media houses on Saturday, Indian Mujahideen stated it was an independent terrorist organisation with no affiliation with the Students Islamic Movement of India.Investigations and arrests so far had pointed at involvement of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India in the blasts.

The e-mail also mocked the arrests made by the Gujarat police in connection with the blasts.Additional Commissioner of Police (Anti-Terrorism Squad) Parambir Singh told Press Trust of India that the e-mail had been tracked to Khalsa College, Matunga. “The mail has been traced to the computer laboratory of the college which holds around 20 computers,” said Singh. “All the computers in the lab of Khalsa College might be sent for forensic analysis.”

Towards the end of the new e-mail, the outfit thanked Haywood.

“Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ken Heywood and his associate for their complete cooperation and guidance to make our attack a huge success,” said the e-mail. Haywood had surprised everyone, including the Anti-Terrorism Squad of the city police that had been questioning him, when without telling anybody he boarded an international flight despite a Look Out Notice issued against him.The e-mail comes at a time when the Anti-Terrorism Squad is investigating Haywood’s religious leanings and connected activities. A police source, speaking on condition of anonymity for lack of authorisation to speak to the media, said Haywood’s activities were more concerned with the Church than the firm with which he was working.

Kenneth Haywood is a Christian missionary! Haywood did not even have a proper office to train people in software skills, which was what his employers claimed he was doing. It is believed Haywood used a portion of a church as his office, and it was shut four days prior to the blasts. Sources said Haywood had claimed the company would get clients through the Internet and it paid rent to the church for use of the room.

This how the foreign media reported about Kenneth Haywood, but secvular media suppressed the facts as usual!

Pastor questioned in India bombing

KINGMAN - The former pastor of a local church has popped up in a rather unlikely place - the offices of India"s Anti-Terror Squad.

Kenneth Haywood, formerly the pastor of the Potter"s House Christian Fellowship at 2675 Northern Ave., was the subject of an ATS investigation following a series of blasts July 26 in the Indian city of Ahmedabad that left 45 dead and more than 160 injured.

According to a July 27 article by the UK-based Guardian newspaper, several Indian television stations received an e-mail warning of the bomb attack approximately five minutes before the bombs went off.

Haywood case: Sanpada church closes its doors

NAVI MUMBAI: US national Kenneth Haywood, whose stealthy exit has left the Anti-Terrorism Squad red-faced, was a familiar figure at the Potter"s House prayer hall, which closed four days after the serial Ahmedabad bomb blasts and has since stayed shut. The Potter"s House church is part of a worldwide organisation called the Christian Fellowship Missionaries (CFM). Their church in Sanpada is apparently the only one in Maharashtra although one new member said there was another centre at Dharavi. This could not be verified. The organisation has in the past faced allegations of forced conversion. According to sources, Haywood was a key member of the CFM in India, especially in Navi Mumbai.

Potter House has about 40 members who gathered every Sunday. Local shopkeepers say that the sermons were held behind closed doors. A mobile store owner at the railway station complex where the hall is located said, “They gathered regularly every week on Thursdays and Sundays. A different foreigner used to accompany Haywoodsaab to the prayer sessions every week." Vishal Moreshwar, a close friend of Haywood who had informed the ATS about his departure, told TOI, “We shut the church voluntarily a couple of days after the bomb blasts since Ken was stuck in the middle of all this and could not attend to the needs of the church."

Allegations that our church practises forced conversions are untrue. Ours was like any other community church and we preached mostly to the old faithful."  All attempts to speak to other members of Potter"s House were thwarted by wary members or dead cellphones. One Richard D"Souza, after learning it was the press at the end of the line, held the phone up to the air for a good ten minutes before finally switching it off. Another, Vicky Thakur, a four-month-old inductee, claimed his cellphone battery was on the wane, and only let out the timings of the Sunday prayer service and the Bible study sessions before the battery ‘died". “I think there is also a centre at Dharavi," said Thakur.

Efforts to learn more about Potter"s House from other independent churches also revealed little. “Never heard of it" was the refrain from pastors of the New Life Fellowship, Assemblies of God and the Redeemed Church. This is not unusual, because unlike the traditional and structured Roman Catholic and Protestant churches, the Pentecostal or charismatic independent churches count an approximate membership of three lakh followers across innumerable sub- or breakaway groups in Mumbai. As for Haywood himself, everyone from the shoeshine boy to the sweepers to the many shopkeepers at Sanpada railway station said they remembered the large American well. Hoshilal Jouhere, a shoeshine boy, said that Haywoodsaab often came to his corner. “Even though the rate for shoe shining was only Rs 5 he used to pay at least Rs 10, and every time. He knew a bit of Hindi and used to greet me, saying ‘Kaise ho?". He also knew a little of Marathi."

This time terror email was late

NEW DELHI: Indian Mujahideen, the hardline splinter of SIMI that is suspected by intelligence agencies to be behind the serial blasts in Delhi, followed the routine of sending an email to the media to coincide with the blasts, it came with a difference. Unlike in the previous instances, where emails from Indian Mujahideen arrived before bombs went off in courts in UP towns, Jaipur and Ahmedabad, the latest hate message vowing “Eye for An Eye” revenge sent from Mumbai reached 11 minutes after the first of the bombs had exploded in Gaffar Market in Karol Bagh.

While the first blast in the Ghaffar Market happened at 6.10pm, the email arrived at 6.26pm.

Also, while the IM spoke of nine blasts, the city till late evening had suffered five — a mismatch which pointed to the possibility of some of the bombs planted by the gang failing to go off or a last minute change of plan that the plotters were not prepared for while crafting the terror mail.

Preliminary investigation suggest that the email which, in keeping with the pattern had been drafted earlier, was sent from Mumbai and bears, intelligence sources are pretty convinced, the signature of Abdul Subhan Usman Qureshi, the techie jihadi from Mumbai who continues to elude intelligence personnel and cops from different states. It warns Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and his deputy R R Patil of facing the consequences, a pointer to Qureshi’s deeply entrenched Mumbai connection.

Captioned “Eye for An Eye, The Dust Will Never Settle Down”, the 13-page email makes it clear that the choice of Delhi was intended to make a statement of capability to strike at prized targets just after the crackdown on the IM/SIMI activists in connection with the previous terror blasts. “To dreadfully terrorise you this time, by the Will and Help of Almighty Allah, we are about to devastate your very first metropolitan centre, your most strategic ‘hindutva hub, your green zone — yes! It’s your own capital”.

The latest email from Abdul Subhan, who uses his alias “al-Arbi”, which has the theme of revenge running through it, reads similar to the previous ones in many ways — references to scriptures to justify the attack on non-believers, warnings of more attacks against those behind “injustice and oppression” inflicted upon Muslims all over the country, boasts of capacity and reach to strike anywhere and warnings to cops, media and judiciary.

There was also the familiar stress on the indigenous character of IM, ironically with the help of the term “homegrown” which has so far been used by officials and security agencies.

Like on previous occasions, the email warns cops and agencies engaged in anti-terror operation and particularly those behind the crackdown on IM/SIMI — in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh well as the Intelligence Bureau.

The sender, as in his previous mail, calls those arrested for Ahmedabad, Surat and Jaipur blasts — from Mufti Bashar to Shahbaz Hussain who importantly has been identified by the owner of a cyber cafe as the one who sent the mail warning of the blasts in the capital of Rajasthan: a suspected ploy to mislead the investigators.

Also, there is no let-up in the effort to intimidate the cops, the media and the judiciary by warning them of retaliation. If anything, the warnings have become more ominous.

There is no regret either for the previous atrocities, with the IM even threatening to repeat the barbarity it committed by attacking hospitals in Ahmedabad.

Yet, it is different in some crucial ways. To begin with, in comparison to the emails that preceded the blasts in courts in towns of UP, Jaipur and Ahmedabad, the latest one is thin on references to scriptures — a factor which could be attributed to the imprisonment of Mufti Bashar, the Azamgarh cleric who provided the religious input for the drafts sent by Subhan till he was arrested for Ahemdabad blasts.

But what is more significant is that it is decidedly more political marked by a determined effort to court the “liberal/secular” opinion by accusing the cops, the media and the judiciary of double standards in their approach to terrorism: the argument being that the activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad are not treated as terrorists even after they are caught making bombs in Kanpur and Nanded, and in Tamil Nadu. The IM disdains the Bajrang Dal activists who were killed while making bombs as “apes”, but the desire to achieve parity with the Hindu right is significant, coming as it does in the wake of suggestion from politicians that Hindutva outfits are as worthy of a ban as SIMI.
