Lying about the speech of Dayananda Saraswati “Do all religions have the same goal?”: A reply to “Viduthalai”, the DK-mouthpiece 

The DK-mouth piece has come out with the following front-page report about the meeting held at Narada Ganna sabha on Sunday July 20, 2008, in which Swami Daynanda saraswati spoke about “Do all the religions have the same goal?”. Definitely, there was a huge crowd as the hall, balcony and veranda was full and thus, many were standing and sitting on the steps outside. In fact, many were not allowed inside, because of space problem.

Confessional statement? 

Swamy Dayananda Saraswati has been head of Dharma Rakshana Samiti. Brahmins and his devotees have been getting him a lot of publicity to him. He released a CD on “Aditya Hrudhyam”. In that function, Cho Ramasamy, a Brahmin and Padma Subramaniam, another dancing Brahmin, who have been against Tamils and Tamil participated in that function. 

Cho had talked that Dayananda Saraswati only had been spreading the knowledge of light and if people like him were not there, there would be darkness in the world and so on. 

While speaking in the function, Swami Dayananda Saraswati mentioned that God has been an unverifiable belief only. Similarly After death there is a life (Punarjanmam) has also been an unverifiable belief. What Cho would say, who has been writing about Hindu religion? He has talked to shut the mouths of the people who try to argue just with words (without any proof). Without God and next birth / rebirth, there is no Hindu religion at all. (But) Dayanada Saraswati has given a confessional statement to the extent that God and rebirth cannot be proved. 

He has been talking against “Paguttarivu” (Analytical wisdom) and escape when it is protested, but has accumulated properties worth of crorers in Coimbatore. He had been implicated in the Sri Rangam Periyar statue issue, but vindicated later. 

Science has been to speak about the established truth; Spirituality has been based on unverifiable shallow believes. Let us see whether the devotees would accept and correct themselves at least now, after listening to his confessional statement.

Actually, Swamiji has pointed out the following facts, but the mischievous DK as usual publish lies. He pointed out how Hindu religion has been different from non-Hindu religions: 

1.      The concept of “Dharma” has been unique to Hindu religion, which is not there in other religions. 

2.      “Ahimsa” has been the unique characteristic of Hindu religion, which is not there in other religion, as one is even asked to kill other (implying the killing of unbeliever / kafir). 

3.      “Ahimsa Paramo dharmah” = Ahimsa has been the prime Dharma (pointing out that certain words cannot be translated in to English or other languages like ahimsa, dharma, pap, punya etc). Thus, the ideas of non-stealing, non-killing, not-telling-lies and such other qualities have been part of ahimsa. 

4.      There is no “mutuality of respect” in other religions. 

5.      The religion is for people and not for God. 

6.      The Christians address or urge others to accept the concept of sin, the original sin and so on. But, we can ask very well why one should accept, because, to whom they get redeem?  

7.      After death, it is not guaranteed whether one would go to hell or heaven, so a Hindu need not worry about “going to heaven”. As “rebirth” is subject to verification, going to heaven is also subject to verification.

However, the DK has chosen to suppress the facts and tried to project as if Swamiji has tyalked against Hindu religion etc.

It is well known that DK has been anti-indu and therefore, it has never discussed about such topics “Do all the religions have the same goal" and all.   

 It is well known fact that DK has never analyze analytically or otherwise about the non-Hindu religions.
